LEADER of Biafra Independence Movement and founder of
movement for actualization of sovereign state of Biafra (BIM-MASSOB), Chief
Ralph Uwazuruike yesterday said, when there was no trust in a relationship or
union such relationship is finished. “When there is no trust the resultant
effect is failure of leadership at the
centre”.
Uwazuruike who cited as an example of the faulty
amalgamation of the north and southern Nigeria in 1914 which expired since
January 2014, also hinted about the circumstances playing out in the country
and predicted the break-up of Nigeria before 2023 into 6 republics. Pigeonholed
into six geopolitical zones.
Namely :
1. south East – New
Biafra
2. South South - Niger Delta
3. South West –
Oduduwa
4. North Central –
Middle Belt
5. North East –
Arewa and
6. North West
Represented during Anambra South Zonal meeting in Uga,
Aguata local government area by a member of Biafra Elders –in-council, Mazi
Chris Mocha, Uwazuruike disclosed that
Biafran constitution must like the Swithzerland’s provide that any
section of the country that is dissatisfied with the union will be at liberty
to secede; promising that Biafra leaders must ensure that the federation is run
in such a way that the citizens are at all time happy and willing to belong to
Biafra without being forced to do so .
The Biafran leader contented that it was only in a corrupt
country like Nigeria where illegality thrives that citizens are forced to live
together and always show allegiance to the state, adding that we do not deserve
Biafra if the emerging republic cannot
be better than Nigeria.
Uwazuruike further assured Ndigbo that in Biafra they won’t
hear rhetoric that a certain snake had swallowed West African examination
council’s (WAEC).
Funds totally about thirty five Million (35m) Naira or that
monkey had eaten up the sum of seventy Million (70m) Naira belonging to
northern sectors in Nigeria.
He expressed optimism that the new Biafra would borrow the
United States, Israel and Switzerland’s foreign/domestic policy to make Biafra
become great and the emerging super power Nation in Africa continent.
