UWAZURUIKE DECLARES MAY 22 BIAFRAN DAY, TASKS OBIANO ON DETAINED MEMBERS IN ONITSHAAs part of activities to mark the 18th year of the redeclaration of the New  Biafra at Aba, on My 22, 2000. Uwzuruike has directed that all the members of movement for actualization of sovereign state od Biafra, MASSOB, and BIM would  march to major federal roads in Benin, porthacourt, Asaba, Calabar,Yenegoa, Onitsha, Enugu, Aba, Owerri, Uyo and Abakaliki on Tuesday,may 22, 2018.

Uwazuruike, in a press statement signed on his behalf by the Biafra Director of information, Mazi Chris Mocha said the annual celebration is in line with its non-violence principle towards the carving  out of Biafra as an independent state from Nigeria.

The Biafran leader said according to world history, there was no revolutionary struggles, no matter how long it takes has ever failed to achieve its goals and objectives but emphasied that starting a revolution as he did in 1999 was the most difficult thing anyone can do.


He stressed that the importance of  the 2018 Biafran Day celebration was intended to draw the attention of the intertnational community that Biafra struggle for independence is still on course.

He charged the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie M. Obiano to facilitate the release of 9 MASSOB Members Including:
v  Chukwuma Nwoba    
v  Longinus Akuegbu
v  Okechukwu Onuorah

v  Anthony Wilfred
v  Sunday Igwe
v  Sunday Nweke
v  David Ota
v  Robinson Agbo and Onyebuchi Ezia arrested 6 days before Nov 18TH  election.
