Chigozie Ibeama.

In a press statement issued in Onitsha, Anambra State, and signed by the Biafra Director of information/ Media Assistant to the New Biafra Head of state, Mazi Chris Mocha explained that the refusal by its leader to give the gratification was real reason for contempt, disobedience and one month imprisonment.

The Biafran leader  also want the NJC to investigate  whose interest the Owerri High Court Judge was serving,  re callIing  that the former Director of Department of State  Security  (DSS), in Imo State,  Mr. Alex .O. Amechina (now rtd) had in 2005 demanded the sum of N5 million as police protection fee to stop the incessant raids on the MASSOB freedom house at Okwe.

On the defendant, Barr. Chigozie Iheama, in the case which is a land matter, he (Uwazuruike Plaintiff),  revealed further that, "the defendant was working in the Presiding Judge's office when the  Justice Kemakolam  Ojiako was just a lawyer before he was made a Judge and uptill now the defendant, Barr. He urged the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, to investigate the judge over alleged corrupt practices.
