URGES MINISTERS, GOVS OPPOSED TO APC GOVT POLICY TO SUPPORT OR RESIGN IF
BIM has advised Nigerians holding public offices who have
continued to cry out louder about the manner the All progressives congress
(APC) led federal government was running the country, irrespective of their
political parties, should resign if they are not comfortable with the present
govt. The Biafra movement gave this advise in Ubulu Uku in Delta State amid
public outcry in some quarters by the critics of APC against lopsided
appointment of service Chiefs and exclusion of Igbo in sensitive positions in
the country, advising such Senators, Governors or ministers not comfortable or
satisfied with the APC change agenda to progress, to either resign or support
the Buhari’s government that has returned Nigeria into the status of a debtor
nation with nothing to show for it with an external debt burden at over 3
trillion Naira and the president promising to borrow more foreign loan.
Mocha said because of these perceived Injustices, Its
founder and leader Chief Ralph Uwazuruike formed MASSOB in 1999, when in the
security council membership there was no Igbo Just as Igbo man was considered
unfit by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo to head the Army, Police, Navy,
Air force, Immigration, DSS, Customs, prisons or NDLEA.
The BIM spokesman maintained that Igbo man was not trusted
to be Nigerian President, Minister for petroleum, works and housing minister,
and chief justice of the federation among others, adding that what is playing
out now in the Nigerian policy was in fulfillment of the policy-cum conspiracy
between the Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba tribes against the Igbo that people from
the South East zone can never become president even beyond 2023.
The statement further
advised the main opposition peoples democratic party (PDP) or the ruling party
(APC) either in elective or by appointment capacity to show their grievances if
they are not satisfied with how the country is been run by the party to resign
honorably and stop crying out louder of selective treatment, nepotism and
favoritism against the government.
